Nicola provides a made to measure service for customers who would like a garment making specifically to fit their figure. Made to measure is standard practice for bridal gowns and is therefore included in the price but you can also choose it for any of the ready to wear pieces. It is recommended that you make an appointment with Nicola in person at the Wonderfully Made shop (although some customers who live too far away have successfully done a virtual fitting). 

You will have an informal friendly consultation with Nicola where she will discuss your requirements. Then she will take your measurements and you will try on some knitwear to get an idea of the fit you would like. Notes will be taken and she will clarify all notes taken to ensure they are correct. From there a deposit will be asked for (usually a third of final cost) and then Nicola will make a start on your garment. She will be in contact with you throughout the process and may need to ask questions along the way should they arise. 

Nicola prides herself on getting the perfect fit for customers so rest assured if it's not quite right she will amend it free of charge. 

Please note though made to measure pieces are none returnable. 

Nicola will contact you when your garment is ready and you can either collect it from Wonderfully Made shop or have it posted special delivery.

Allow 4-6 weeks for a made to measure piece (plus an additional 5 weeks if you're having the yarn dyed to order)
